About Our School

 

A strong passion to help others realize the rewarding benefits of working in the medical and dental industry led Dr. Mark Wassef, DMD, to create the NJ Premier Institute for Medical and Dental Training.

After 15 successful years in implant, cosmetic and family dentistry, Dr. Wassef wanted to make it possible for others to achieve the same happiness he found working as a professional in the Dental field.

In 2009, with two practices in New Jersey flourishing, Dr. Wassef expanded his Hazlet location, Glenwood Premier Dental, to include the training institute.

Uniting the professional practice with the classroom setting affords students the unique opportunity to learn in a modern classroom setting and apply their skills under the guidance of Dr. Wassef at Glenwood Premier Dental.

Students say the school has a very warm and welcoming feeling. The beautifully decorated, modern facility includes state-of-the-art technology and a working lab.

While learning the latest advancements in both the medical and dental profession, students will virtual have hands on experience with Glenwood patients from day one and can also complete their required externship next door as well. This will give students a major competitive edge over those graduating from other dental assisting schools in NJ.

The NJ Premier Institute for Medical and Dental Training offers more to students than education and hands-on experience, students can also expect to develop a close knit relationship with Dr Wassef and his staff at Glenwood. The staff is available to council the students in career planning and interview preparation. The goal of the institute is for students to leave confident and ready to begin their new career in just 13 weeks.

About Mark Wassef, DMD

 

Dr. Wassef's beliefs as an individual are to have compassion towards others and provide them with honest, professional and understandable information. His philosophy is simple, treat people with care and respect and guide them with knowledge so they can make the best treatment decisions for themselves. With compassion and understanding, Dr Wassef has built two successful dental practices in NJ catering to patients with varying needs including those with fears of seeing a dentist.

The entire staff is dedicated to the highest standards of excellence in dentistry and customer care and will provide answers to all of your questions. Dr. Wassef did his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York in Buffalo. He graduated at the top of his dental class and received awards for clinical excellence from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Wassef is a member of International Congress of Oral Implantology with a fellowship and matership ranking. This has enabled him to keep up with the latest advancements in dentistry, especially in dental implants.

Dr. Wassef is a family man with high morals and is a leader in the community. He is a mentor to his church youth group and councils underprivileged children. He is also highly active in many hobbies and loves sports, especially tennis and basketball.

Dr. Wassef enjoys getting to know his patients, and you will enjoy getting to know him. He prides himself in making the best possible care a reality for all of his patients.
